Patient Rights

When you apply to a health institution for health care:

1) Benefiting from the service in general: Benefiting from health services within the framework of the principles of Justice and Equity. It has the right to receive services regardless of race, language, religion and sect, gender, philosophical belief, economic and social status.

2) Informing and requesting information: He has the right to learn about all kinds of health services and opportunities and to request all kinds of information about his health status, verbally or in writing.

3) Choosing and changing the health institution and its personnel: He has the right to choose and change the health institution and to benefit from the health services provided in the health facility he has chosen, to learn the identities, duties and titles of the doctors and other health workers who will provide health services.

4) Privacy: They have the right to receive all kinds of health services in an environment suitable for confidentiality.

5) Refusal, suspension and consent: He has the right to refuse the treatment, to ask for it to be stopped, to get his consent in medical interventions and to benefit from the service within the framework of his consent.

6) Security: He has the right to receive health care in a safe environment.

7) Fulfillment of religious duties: The health facility has the right to fulfill its religious duties within the scope of its possibilities and within the framework of the measures taken by the administration.

8) Respect for human values, respect and comfort: Everyone has the right to receive health care, in a friendly, gentle and compassionate environment, where all kinds of hygienic conditions are provided and all noisy and disturbing factors are eliminated, with respect, care and attention.

9) Visiting and having a companion: He has the right to accept visitors within the framework of the procedures and principles determined by the health facilities, and to have a companion within the limits of the legislation and the possibilities of the health facility, and if the physician deems it appropriate.

10) Right of application, complaint and lawsuit: In case of violation of his rights, he has the right to use all kinds of application, complaint and lawsuit within the framework of the legislation.
