Neonatology
Our Newborn Intensive Care Unit provides life support to newborns and babies in need of special care with advanced technological equipment. In our unit, where a 24-hour uninterrupted working program is implemented, service is provided by experienced specialist doctors and nurses.
Our aim is to bring premature or full-term sick babies back to life in a healthy way. The latest treatment methods are applied with specialist doctors and newborn nurses 24 hours a day.
Pediatric cardiology, pediatric nephrology, pediatric surgery, orthopedics and neurosurgery consultations are requested when necessary. Weekly chronal head ultrasound checks and routine eye checks from the 1st month are performed in babies born under 32 weeks of age.
Our unit accepts babies from other hospitals besides our own hospital. We do the transfer with our own transport incubator when necessary. Cranial (head) USG is routinely performed on all newborn babies for the diagnosis of intracranial pressure and bleeding.
