Fehmi KACMAZ

About me

Prof. Dr. Fehmi Kaçmaz was born in Mardin in 1979. She graduated from Trabzon High School in 1995 and settled in Ege University Faculty of Medicine in the same year. After graduating from Ege University Faculty of Medicine in 2001, she started the Department of Cardiology at Turkey Yüksek İhtisas Hospital in the same year to specialize in cardiology. She became a cardiology specialist in 2006. While working at Mesa-TOBB ETU hospital, she received the title of Associate Professor in 2013. She became a Professor in 2019.

Prof. Dr. Fehmi Kaçmaz has more than 100 national and international original articles and congress papers. He has been invited as a live case operator, moderator, speaker and panelist in more than 40 congresses, courses and meetings. won the first prize in the managed case competition. Again in 2021, she won the second prize in the case competition at the international ASPIC congress.

His areas of interest are complex coronary interventions, peripheral interventions and all procedures in interventional cardiology, including congenital heart diseases. He has performed over 20 thousand coronary angiography, angioplasty, valvuloplasty, percutaneous closure in congenital diseases, peripheral angioplasty, coil embolization intravascular ultrasonography (IVUS), intravascular plaque shaving (Rorablation) in his professional life. Prof. who is also interested in arrhythmia. Dr. Fehmi Kaçmaz performed electrophysiology, ablation and battery procedures in over 4 thousand cases.
